Phone Photo Hacks
There are some really simple strategies you can implement RIGHT NOW to immediately start taking better photos on your phone. And none of them require you to be a professional photographer! Are you ready to level up your photo game?
1. Clean off your camera lens 🛁
Dude. Seriously. If you take NOTHING else from this, please for the love of all photos - wipe off your lens!! Just take the bottom of your shirt and give it a good wipe before you start snapping away. You wouldn’t believe the amount of photos that look “hazy” and super unclear because the lens was covered in filth 😜
2. Natural light ☀️☀️☀️☀️
Whenever you can, you want to work with natural light and natural light ONLY. That means sunshine, kid! If you’re inside, turn off the overhead lights in the room and get closer to a window to utilize the light coming in! Take that selfie from a 9 to a strong 10! 😉
3. Never. EVER. Zoom
You wanna know how to zoom? Move your dang feet! 👣 Pretend the zoom feature doesn’t even exist on your phone. Trust me, the quality of the image will drastically diminish the second you start pinching those fingers. It’s not worth it.
4. Always use the “live” feature 💃
The more, the merrier! Take a bunch of photos! You might capture a fun “in-between/candid” moment! And then be sure to pick one or two favorites and then delete the rest… No one needs 100 photos of their dog in the same spot
5. Make sure your photo is straight
Find the horizon and straighten the photo to match that. This will 100% take your photo from amateur to somewhat not as amateur 👏🏼
