Kiawah Island, Shenandoah & Our One Year Anniversary

Stephen and I graduated from Penn State this May and took a two week hiatus. This post is long overdue but I wanted to share some of the sweet memories we made!

Our first stop was Kiawah Island, the most amazing place on earth! From the quiet beach to miles and miles of biking & running paths, there is so much to do and nothing to do all at the same time. It's one of my favorite places to vacation with my family and I'm so thankful we were able to go.

Our next adventure was accompanied with a theme song...

We hiked 30 miles in 3 days for our first anniversary.

It's one of those things where looking back you remember all the great parts & would totally do it again,

but there were moments I literally wanted to crawl up in a ball and pretend I was back on the beach in Kiawah...

This hike was almost the death of me. I wasn't feeling well at all and it was the longest hike we did - 13 miles and 7 hours later I was almost kissing my car!
